Feng Shui funny?

Here’s a cartoon from a graphic novel called “Asterios Polyps” by David Mazzucchelli, who clearly takes a dim view of Feng Shui.

The consultant is saying — “This is the most auspicious arrangement I could come up with, so I advise you not to move anything.”

Strange odds & ends are strewn about the room; the furniture is at odd angles and even upside down.

Ouch! I know a lot of people out there believe this is what Feng Shui is all about — but needless to say, faithful reader, I don’t agree :)

To me, Feng Shui is a practical art, a way to create a beautiful, comfortable and secure space where you can be happy and productive.

The cartoon is fun and got my attention, but…
