At my Feng Shui in the Office workshop on Wednesday attendees learned how to apply Feng Shui principles to enhance their wealth and happiness at work.
One question came from Brooke, who works for a small business that’s just moved into new offices. She wanted to know which way their conference table should face — out towards the beautiful view or have its back to the window?
My answer? The conference table should face away from the window so the Chi energy of salespeople and clients stays focused on the products, rather than the view outside. Chi energy is likely to “fly out the window” otherwise, reducing the likelihood of making a deal .
In fact, Brooke told me that of four deals they’ve tried to close in this conference room, the only successful one occurred when everyone faced away from the window!
I have to admit, I wasn’t surprised
