This is the first in my 5-part series about bringing good Feng Shui into the bedroom of my client Linda’s small apartment.
Linda lives in a large studio apartment with an alcove bedroom:
One of Linda’s main goals in bringing Feng Shui to her apartment is to attract a happy romantic relationship into her life.
This means a primary focus on the Feng Shui of her bedroom, and an assessment of the Relationship area of her space as well.
We started with her bedroom, with Linda allowing me to make “in-progress” photographs to share some of the ways I analyze a bedroom during a Feng Shui consultation.
For example, to get the best possible idea of how my client experiences their space, I like to put myself in their place as much as possible:
In Feng Shui it’s key to feel in control of your space when you lie on your bed, so that’s one of the first things I do in a client’s room.
Ask yourself: do you like what you see when you’re lying on your bed?
Are you in the Command Position in your bedroom, able to see the door when you lie down?
If not this will be the first step to creating a room that makes you feel more relaxed whenever you’re in bed.
We’re just at the beginning of overhauling Linda’s bedroom with Feng Shui — stay tuned!
