A Tale Of Two Houses: Bad Feng Shui

Walking around my neighborhood the other day to enjoy the holiday decorations, I came across a set of attached “twin houses.”

What caught my eye was the extreme difference in the vibe of the two houses.

Abundance vs. Scarcity: A Tale of Two Houses.

Click on the photo for a closer look.

Evidently two very different types of people live here.

The left-hand house feels warm and abundant. It’s well-cared for and invitingly decorated with a wreath and cheery lights on the windows.

I also love the red car in the driveway.

From a Feng Shui perspective, Chi energy and people will feel welcome here.

The right-hand house is forbidding, with overgrown branches blocking the doorway, multiple No Parking signs, a barricade-like fence, a large blank window and a house number made out of black tape (!).

It’s literally saying NO to life.

Auspicious Chi energy — and visitors — will do whatever is necessary to avoid approaching this home because of its overwhelming negative vibe.

In fact as I was taking this picture the home’s owner came out to give me a hard time!

I left as quickly as possible, wondering what the relationship might be between the occupants of these two houses.

Take a look at the outside of your home with Feng Shui in mind.

Will Chi energy feel that yours is a home of Abundance — or Negativity?

Wow! The left house looks like happy people live there and the right looks so sad. What a difference! I hope my house looks like the left!

I know, exactly!! I forgot to point out that the right-hand house is overgrown with vines, too. Oy!

Thank you Vicki — so glad you see it the way I do!
