Did you know that the Feng Shui Bagua Map offers more than one way to improve your love life?
The Bagua’s nine areas include one dedicated to Marriage & Intimate Relationship (in the upper-right hand corner).
This is the first place to enhance if you’re looking to attract romance or improve your love life.
But the Bagua has a secret weapon in the sector diagonally across from it: Knowledge & Self-Cultivation.
The Bagua’s strength comes in part from the strong connections between its nine sectors.
The diagonal relationships are particularly strong and need to be taken into account when you’re focusing on key things like your love life.
In this case, the Knowledge & Self-Cultivation area is where you turn inwards, getting to know and cultivate yourself through quiet meditation and learning.
It makes sense, doesn’t it? If we don’t know ourselves well, how can we expect to cultivate a healthy relationship with another person?
So give your love life a boost by enhancing the Knowledge & Self-Cultivation part of your space.
Tell me: what kinds of adjustments might give your love life a boost?
My Knowledge & Self-Cultivation Bagua is the entrance to my small apartment. It’s where I hand jackets, backpacks, etc.
I also happen to keep my archery gear there. Archery is something I love and want to improve in (which helps with self-cultivation.) But does having arrows (weapons) there hurt my relationships? Or can I view them as Cupid’s arrows? Is it the object itself that creates the energy, or is it the power I assign the object?
Great question, Jerri. The power is in your own intention with everything you own. Keeping your arrows in the Knowledge sector is great for the exact reason you cite: your Archery practice absolutely is part of your self-knowledge and cultivation. Elementally the Knowledge area is represented by hard Earth, like a mountain. So I would suggest incorporating that element/symbolism into your entryway somehow as well, perhaps with a mountainous landscape, or with a beautiful earthenware tile.
