Does your office suffer from any of these “Feng Shui maladies”? If so, your work life may be suffering unnecessarily.
Let’s take a look.
#1 – “I love to look out the window as I work.”
A desk that faces toward the window instead of the door creates at least two Feng Shui difficulties for you:
- Your energy needs to be directed at your work when you’re at the office. If you face a window, your Chi energy will be attracted towards the view instead, distracting you from your Primary Purpose.
- A desk that faces a window is likely to be facing away from the doorway, almost by definition. This is another cause for distraction since you will always be wondering what’s going on behind you.
Eliminate distractions and take charge of your business life by turning your desk around into Feng Shui’s Command Position.
Can’t turn your desk around? Don’t despair! Install a small mirror like this one instead.
#2 – “Storing things behind the door is perfect! Out of sight, out of mind, right?”
Storing a few things behind the door is fine, but an excess of stuff there will block healthy Chi energy from fully entering your office.
Clear the clutter and make sure your office door opens all the way to 90 degrees to get the benefit of as much auspicious energy as you can.
#3 – “Everyone knows who I am and what I do, and I don’t mind being a little bit anonymous anyway.”
Success at work flows to you more easily when good Chi — not to mention colleagues, vendors and clients — can find you easily. To attract the attention you deserve, put your name on the door and make it clear just who occupies your unique space.
When you let your light shine you’ll soon discover that success and prosperity can find you much more easily and abundantly.
