Do Too Many Pillows Make A Bad Feng Shui Bed?

Is it possible that too many pillows create bad Feng Shui for your bed?

Well, according to Feng Shui, the answer is an emphatic “Yes!

Look at the bed below, for instance, where the abundance of pillows form a blockade.

Too many pillows!

It’s feeling mighty crowded here.

They seem to say, “You’re going to have to work to get into this bed, and don’t even THINK of bringing someone else to bed with you!”

Not the kind of bedtime message you want to be sending, is it?

A bedroom with good Feng Shui always welcomes you into your own bed — and welcomes someone else too, if that’s what’s on your mind ;)

Besides that, too many pillows create a mess every night when it’s time to sleep, a mess you wake up to each morning and wearily have to clean up.

Ahhhhh!

As tempting as it may be to keep piling on the pillows, keep your bed as open and welcoming as possible for the sake of your relationship and your peace of mind as well.

Do you agree? How many pillows are you comfortable having on your bed?

I agree…less is more. Lots of colorful/decorative pillows look nice in a store, but as said, the reality is they create a blockade and then can be messy. I do like two or three pillows to add color and some pizzazz to a room and I think that’s enough.

I love the lush feeling of pillows – I actually just bought new pillows and a duvet for my bed. I’ve settled on six pillows – or 3 per person for that hotel feel :)

I have four even though that’s not a very good Asian number.  I’ve tried six which was pretty –  but I had to kick two off every night so it became an annoyance on its own.  That said, I love my Cedro diffuser.  I like inhaling calming scents when I count down to sleep.
