Feng Shui Shopping: Hong Kong’s Five Elements Mall

I’ve just discovered that Hong Kong, well-known center for all things Feng Shui, now offers the ultimate Feng Shui retail experience: the Elements shopping mall.

The Elements Mall is divided into five zones, loosely associated with Feng Shui’s Five Elements.

So,

  • The Metal Zone includes super-luxury shops and gorgeous metallic sculptures,
  • The Water Zone contains great restaurants (not sure why?) and water features,
  • The Wood Zone features wood decor and brands that focus on health, beauty and lifestyle,
  • The Fire Zone lives up to its name with a huge movie complex — and an ice skating rink (!),
  • and the Earth Zone features world fashion in a lush garden environment.

Here’s what the Metal Zone looks like:

I would LOVE to go to Hong Kong to explore the city and check out this mall. this mall.  It would be such fun to experience all the ways they’ve brought the Five Elements to life.

Want to come with me?

Wow, it makes me want to go to HK. What a great idea and I wonder if we could pull this off with other businesses.  I would love to set up a Learning & Development complex with the stations, and then people could work on the different areas of their life!

Great idea, Caroline! Feng Shui is perfectly designed for this sort of thing… I would love to see this mall in person, for sure.

It sounds like a great place to visit for those who practice or want to learn more about Feng Shui.  Hope you get to visit soon so you can share it with us first-hand. :-)

Hi Roz, Yes, it’s a fascinating way to organize all the different businesses in a mall –> give them a bit of rhyme & reason :) I’ll let you know if I go!
