Start Here.

Here’s how to start attracting the happiness and success you desire, today.

1. Get to know the Bagua Energy Map.  Apply it to your home, and use it to start making changes in your space.  (Take a shortcut here with my 40-page ebook, Map Your Space To Change Your Life, for just $3.99)

2. Focus your Feng Shui efforts on your bedroom, the most important room in your home.

3. Learn about two other key Feng Shui areas that need your special attention to attract what you want into your life: health, happiness, success…

4. Learn to place furniture correctly using the Command Position.

5. Understand how energy flows, and how to open up the pathways and attract positive and healthful Chi throughout your home.

I love this easy to use checklist, especially prioritizing where to get started! I’d love to know, perhaps for a future post, When do people start seeing results? If you don’t see any results, do you move to a different area of the bagua, same room, or a different room?  Maybe you can post a checklist for troubleshooting?  I love your advice!

I’m wondering about good locations for mirrors, since you mention having them in the bedroom is bad due to diminishing your ability to relax. Where is the next best room to have them?

Emily — mirrors are fine pretty much anyplace else in the home, as long as they reflect something attractive and/or abundant. The bedroom is the ONLY place they don’t belong!

I am trying to apply the Bagua Energy Map to my small office + sewing room. This is th room that weighs me down literally. So I’m decluttering and rearranging. Several problems are apparant. 1) how to apply the map with the 8 x 5 ft window alcove. I think this area would be half in wisdom & knowledge and half in family & health. It’s my favorite part of the room with a built in window seat the size of a crib mattress. So how are room offsets handled? 2) I have a large built in “L” shaped desk in the back left corner of the room. It takes up 2/3 of the left wall and the back wall. Much like a cubicle workspace it depresses me. I do genealogy research here, scan photos and enter data. Facing the wall is a negative but there is only so much I can do with furniture arrangement. Open to ideas and suggestions.
