Pantone’s 2013 Color of the Year is a striking shade of Emerald Green.
Here’s an example that shows this beautiful shade of green as a wall color, in your furnishings, in artwork — or even all three at once — in a room that has great Feng Shui.
Pantone’s news release about this wonderful color uses language that could be drawn directly from Feng Shui:
“Emerald, a vivid, verdant green, enhances our sense of well-being by inspiring insight as well as promoting balance and harmony.”
This deep, vibrant shade symbolizes the Wood element in Feng Shui, representing new beginnings, growth and vitality.
Bring it into your environment when you’re starting a new project or wish to generate a sense of life and growth in any aspect of your life.
Wood is also associated with your family, so adding a wonderful shade of green helps activate healthy, flexible family relationships as well.
Interestingly, this vibrant color is on the opposite side of the color spectrum from last year’s Color of the Year, Tangerine Tango, but it brings just as much lively energy into a space.
Let me know if you give it a try!
