How Floor Plans Affect Your Feng Shui, Pt 3

n our final look at the luxury floorplan with unfortunate Feng Shui, let’s examine the Bagua and room placement in this home.

First up, two important Bagua map areas are missing: Wealth/Prosperity in the upper-left corner, and most of Fame/Reputation in the center-top.

Floorplan with two missing areas

The residents of this home will want to make serious Feng Shui adjustments to make up for the large missing areas.

A strategic use of mirrors will symbolically expand the space, while Chi-energizing objects will also be necessary to fill in the gaps.

Next, the placement of the Master Bedroom is very inauspicious from a Feng Shui perspective.

Master bedrooms belong at the back of a home, where you feel most safe and secure.

This is one reason that the Relationship area is located in the back of a residence (read my post about why the Bagua is set up the way it is).

One essential Feng Shui remedy these residents ought to make right away is to hang bells on their front door to alert them when anyone enters or leaves the apartment.

This is the last installment of my series on this regrettable floor plan (you can read Parts 1 and 2 here), but I’ll be glad to revisit it if you have any other questions about it.
