Filed Under: Feng Shui Basics & Essentials Tagged With: Abundance, Balance, Clutter, Feng Shui for the Office, Feng Shui For Your Home

Feng Shui is full of great advice for transforming your life, but it’s impossible to begin such an important journey without having some idea of where you are and where you want to go.

So the first step towards creating good Feng Shui is having an understanding of the goal you are aiming for.

This is called “Knowing Your Intention.”

Determine your path.
Determine your path.
  • Do your desires include better relationships with your life partner, your family, your children?
  • Would you like better health or a smoother career path?
  • Are you feeling stuck, or going through an major life transition?

What are your most important life goals right now? Which two or three have top priority?

Feng Shui has powerful tools like the powerful Bagua Map that can help you start defining your goals and bringing them into reality.

Let me know if you need a hand taking your first, important step.

I’ve found working with clients that outlining goals and writing them on a white board goes a long way to achieving them sooner! And maintaining the progress! Great post.

That’s great — actually writing down goals is such a powerful exercise, you’re right. Thanks for the comment!

      Hello Parishmita,
I suggest that you sit with the Bagua Map for awhile, and meditate on its nine sectors. This may help you gain clarity around your goals. I wish you the best for your future.

    Hi Anne,

In my first career I was a dancer of ballet ,modern, and jazz. I have 3 black and white photographs of me, placed in light gray metal frames, reflecting each form of dance. I have them on the wall by on the right of the doorway in my NYC apartment. Is this a good place as I was thinking of moving them ??? I put them there to give me inspiration to continue to take class and dance, which I do every single week of my life! Is this s good place fro pictures of me and so close to the door??

      Hello Kimberly,
It sounds to me as if the pictures are lifting your energy, which is great Feng Shui. Entry doors are considered to carry “Life Journey” energy no matter which Bagua sector they are located in, so this would make a lot of sense in your case. These photos seem very powerful for you, so if you do decide to move them, carefully consider their placement so that continue to deliver their powerful energy to you.
