Bad & Good Feng Shui for Children: Bedroom Colors

Filed Under: Children's Feng Shui Tagged With: Feng Shui Color, Feng Shui for Bedrooms, Feng Shui No-No's, Five Elements, Yin & Yang

Here’s a very disturbing rendering of a child’s bedroom that I came across recently:

The vibrant primary colors here are too Yang for any bedroom, especially a child’s.

These types of colors make better sense for a playroom where activity is encouraged, but bedrooms need a quieter mood that encourages rest and relaxation.

A bedroom using soft Yin colors and Five Elements theory creates a much better Feng Shui in a child’s bedroom.

Soft green shades, symbolizing the Wood element, work especially well since they encourage growth and development.

These shades combined with soft yellows, representing Earth, create a sense of stability and groundedness for an active child who is starting to explore the world.
