Are you getting enough sleep?
Probably not.
The statistics on insomnia in the U.S. have just been updated, and the findings are grim: fully 30% of workers report getting fewer than six hours of sleep per day, where healthy adults need 7-9 hours, according to the National Sleep Foundation.
Lack of sleep affects your ability to be fully creative and productive. It’s been linked to heart disease and obesity, and is a leading cause of accidents as well: one-fifth of vehicle crashes are linked to driving while drowsy.

Fortunately Ann, I have noooo problem sleeping. I love sleep and can fall asleep pretty easily…hmmm, if I could only figure out how to make money from it. But, I do notice if my apt or bedroom is cluttered or not clean it’s like “cutting chi” for me, I just don’t sleep comfortably.
Tanzie, you’re very fortunate! I agree that a messy bedroom gets in the way of deep sleep — cleaning up a little is the last thing I do before climbing into bed 😉
When I moved into my current apartment, I finally decided to separate my sleeping area and working area – no more computer desk in the bedroom! My next step was to kick the cats out so they wouldn’t wake me up at 4am 🙂
Hi Emily – sounds like excellent Feng Shui to me 😉 Are your nights more relaxed and peaceful?
